Cashmere Cat - Wedding Bells

I have no idea what this is about. Kinda reminds me of Lapalux. I'm not even sure if I like it... I mean it's cool, but it might be a little too crazy, if that's a thing. Check it anyway.

Gorgon City - Ready For Your Love

We need some new dancy ish up in here. I'm lovin' the garage groove in this track, the vocals are a bit much at times, think I just need to find myself a dub version.

Disclosure - Stimulation

I haven't posted anything from these guys in like... a month? Ha ha, this might be my favorite track from the album. There isn't an official video so here's some flashy moving pictures that some guy threw together that sorta go with the beat. It'll do for now.

SBTRKT - Hold On / Migration

Here's a live cut featuring Sampha on vocals. These guys have been touring fairly extensively since the release of that amazing album, hopefully they get back in the studio one of these days because it's time for more damnit!

Tirzah & Micachu - I'm Not Dancing

I know absolutely nothing about this duo, but for only a couple minutes this is a pretty cool little track. It has an air of sincerity about it and I love the minimal feel.

Disclosure - When A Fire Starts To Burn

From the UK, if you're into electronic music and haven't checked out this album yet, YOU ARE MISSING OUT. Just sayin', oh so quietly...

Young Rival - Two Reasons

Hello blog, we meet again. I've been cheating on you with another blog, but it's not related, so it's ok. I feel as though I've neglected you sufficiently. I do apologize. I can't promise it won't ever happen again but I can say that I won't make a conscious effort of it. Here, have some music to soothe your weary soul.

Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar

Go back, waaaay back to 1996 and a unknown trip-hop group by the name of Sneaker Pimps appears on the UK, and subsequently North American, scene following in the steps of genre luminaries like Portishead and Massive Attack. "6 Underground" finds huge success amongst scores of people, and features in the movie "The Saint". Following up on this is "Spin Spin Sugar", which isn't quite as popular, but a remix by a certain Armand van Helden absolutely explodes in the nightclub scene, introducing me, and certainly plenty of others, to the "garage" style of music.

Wait a minute, that guy is also behind the Duck Sauce song too! Two awesomes, both by this Armand fellow? Coincidence? I think not.

Darkly awesome!
