The Hollies are one of the defining rock groups of the 60s and 70s, though somewhat overshadowed by some of their more illustrious contemporaries. This particular track wasn't written by them, and in fact it was first recorded by Neil Diamond, but this was released as a single first and is probably the best remembered version of it. This one goes out to Jono, the man with the hatt.
